Crochet Bow Barrette Pattern

Materials:
5.5 mm hook
worsted weight yarn
barrette
Depending on what types of yarn you use, nished sizes will vary.
Stitches Used:
• st(s)= stitch(es)
• ch= chain
• sc= single crochet
• hdc= half double crochet
• ss= slip stitch
Directions:
Ch 12
Row 1: hdc in 2nd ch from hook and each st across (11 hdc)

Row 2: hdc 11, ch 1, turn

Rows 3-4: Repeat row 2

Row 5: sc 11, don't turn at the end of this row, now you are going to work around;

Sc 4 along the side, 11 sc along the bottom (bottom of foundation chain), sc 4 along
other side, join with ss to 1st sc, tie off and weave in ends.

Take a length of yarn and wrap around center of bow. Use as much or as little as you
need to make the "knot" the size you want. Tie off and use tails to wrap around the
barrette securely. A dab of glue can also be used to secure the bow to the barrette.
