In Deuteronomy 30:16, it is said ”For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in
obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the
Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess. Lord we long to experience these
blessings: Our Response: Let me sing of your law O My God, people.

3. In the book of Joshua 1:8, it is said “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day
and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and
successful.” Lord we long to keep your law given to us through our constitutions. Response: Let me sing of

4. St Paul to Romans 3:20 says “Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of
the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.” Lord we desire not to fall into sin but

5. In the book of Deuteronomy 28:1 it is said “If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his
commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth.” Lord we
desire to inherit the blessings your promise if we observe our constitutions. Response: Let me sing of your

6. In the book of Deuteronomy 10:12-13awe”And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but
to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you
today for your own good?” Lord we seek to fear you and your law given to us. Response: Let me sing of

7. In the book of Joshua 22:5, it is said “But be very careful to keep the commandment and the law that
Moses the servant of the Lord gave you: to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to keep
his commands, to hold fast to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. May the
constitutions teach us to love you and our neighbor above everything else. Response: Let me sing of your

8. St John in his first letter Ch. 3:21-22 says ”Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have
confidence before God and receive from him anything we ask, because we keep his commands and do
what pleases him.” Lord we desire to be pleasing in your sight. Response: Let me sing of your law O My

9. In the book of Genesis Ch.18:19 it is said “These words I am commanding you today are to be upon your
hearts. And you shall teach them diligently to your children and speak of them when you sit at home and
when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as reminders on your
hands and bind them on your foreheads. Let we exult in your law and our constitutions as the rule of life.

10. In the book of Deuteronomy 4:9 it is said “For I have chosen him, so that he will command his children
and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing what is right and just, in order that the
LORD may bring upon Abraham what He has promised." Lord we want to do what is right and just by
