DEVIFLEX - QUICK START

This manual gives a short describtion on how to do a DeviFlex survey,

from the beginning to the results are downloaded on your computer.

For more detailed information, take a look in the DeviFlex, DeviSoft.Mobile

and DeviSoft user manuals.

Always remember to charge the DeviFlex,

modem and PDA.

DEVIFLEX - QUICK START

1) Assemble the DeviFlex as shown in the figure above. Check that no part is damaged,
and that the wheels are on the same line. Don’t screw the parts too thight together. Pay
also special attention that you disassemble the DeviFlex on the BREAK POINT.

2) Connect the Bluetooth modem to the Com-port for further operations.

3) Turn on the Bluetooth-modem with the on/off button.

In DeviFlex kits with a Nomad PDA, there is a cable which will substitute for the modem.
 4) Open the DeviSoft.Mobile software on the PDA. You’ll find it under the Start-meny.

Click the “Project”-button. Click the “Hole”-button.

1 Press “New” and write Id and name. 2 Press “New” and write name.
Press “Back” Press “Back”

Click the “Survey”-button. Type in time
interval, start depth and depth interval.

Press Start and follow the instructions
on the screen.
NB! Check the “Up” box if surveing up.
Instrument must not be moved when a
measurment is done. Don’t move when
the “Mark” box is red.
Press “End” to finish the survey.
 Answer the question on the screen, then press
“Results”.

5) Transmit the results to your computer with DeviSoft software.

- Open DeviSof PC software.

- Press “Registrations” → “Edit registrations” in the menu.

- Press the “Import PDA” -button.

- Press the “Imp PDA” -button and choose PDA in the new pop-up window
- Mark your correct project and press “Open”.
- Download all the holes with “Download all” or a single hole with “Download”

Close all the windows you have open.

- Press“File” → “Save” in the menu and give the file a name.

You have now stored the results in your computer.
