In the Matter Of: United States Travel Ban of Canadian Richard Bradley Wozny

Dear Distinguished Governor, Representative, and Senator of [[YOUR STATE]]

As a constituent of [[ ]] and Congressional District [[ ]], I write you to ask for

your immediate assistance in the contacting of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Ombudsman, concerning
the matter of my good friend, Richard Bradley Wozny, including his Trusted Traveler status, and his ability to
travel to and from and within the United States.
Mr. Wozny is a personal friend of mine, and a faithful and decent person and human being. In the wake
of the terrorist attacks of 9/11/2001, Mr. Wozny’s employment with a Fortune 500 Company caused him to
receive high-level security clearances within the U.S. Pentagon, where he worked feverishly to restore American
security assurances both domestically, and on the world stage. Mr. Wozny, who hails originally from Canada,
holds a University Degree from the Wilfrid Laurier University and is a ground-infantry veteran of the Canadian
Armed Forces, where he received honorable marks; he has also served in fire-fighting as a wildfire specialist,
where he received multiple awards for Heroism. He is a successful entrepreneur, and has traveled lawfully in
this great Land without difficulty for more than 20 years, and previously lived in the USA as a legal resident and
taxpayer for nearly a decade on 3 separate TN-1 Visas. Finally, and of particular note, Mr. Wozny belonged to
the Trusted Traveler-Nexus Program since the inception of said program, and its preceding program the INS.
The current challenges to Mr. Wozny’s ability to travel stem from the fact that Mr. Wozny was in the
United States lawfully when the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic was declared, and as a result, was not allowed to
leave the country in a timely enough manner to keep with the Nexus Program requirements, due to shifting
mandates for travelers in response to the pandemic event. Mr. Wozny’s religious convictions prevented his
receiving any of the COVID-19 vaccines, and by the time such health-mandates were lifted for international
travelers, Mr. Wozny had been effectively coerced into overstaying his Nexus Pass program allowance. His
Trusted Traveler Status and Nexus Pass were revoked in response, and he was barred from entry into the United
States of America for a 10-year period thereafter.
Given Mr. Wozny’s background of military service and meritorious heroism in both the USA and
Canada, as well as his extensive personal and family network here in the United States to include loved ones
living in California, Colorado, Michigan, and Tennessee, and combined with high-level Pentagon security
clearances granted to him after September 11, 2001; and also with consideration that the aforementioned
mandates which caused these travel difficulties to first begin, have now been lifted, and are themselves being
identified worldwide as having been violations of the Geneva Convention and the 1947 Nuremberg Code, I
implore you to appeal to the Customs and Border Patrol Ombudsman, and request that the person acting
as CBP Ombudsman:
 Expunge this governmental and administrative error from the US Customs and Border Patrol
System, relating directly to Mr. Wozny.
 Promptly restore Mr. Wozny’s lawful ability to travel into the United States, and
 Promptly reinstate Mr. Wozny’s Trusted Traveler Program Nexus-Pass.

While the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Ombudsman may be reached by email at
cbp@cbpvc@dhs.gov, and by regular mail at:

… I am instead asking you to please directly contact the person responsible for the duties of this Office
and position, in deliberate avoidance of the computer-automated system administering many of the CBP
Ombudsman’s duties.

On behalf of my good and honorable friend Mr. Wozny, I thank you for your consideration and any assistance
you are able to offer in this matter.

With Great Respect,
