Script Job Interview

Tia Arini : “Good morning ma’am, nice to meet you.”

Mrs. Dyah : “Good morning, please sit down.”
Tia Arini : “Yes, thank you ma’am.”
Mrs. Dyah : “Is it true that you are Tia Arini?”
Tia Arini : “Yes, that’s right. I’m Tia Arini”
Mrs. Dyah : “Oh. Ok, let me introduce myself, my name is Mrs. Dyah, I am a personnel staff
at this hospital. First, you can tell me about yourself.”
Tia Arini : “I’m graduated from University of Indonesia with nursing major in 2016. I have
been working at a local hospital for eight years as a nurse and enjoying every second of it.
Other than my career, I’m also active on a non-profit organization called Nurses’ Calling
which helps people that got affected by natural disasters such as earthquake and tsunami.”
Mrs. Dyah : “So you love being a nurse? Why did you first decided that you wanted to be a
nurse?”
Tia Arini : “I do, I really love being a nurse. I actually have dreamed of becoming a nurse
since I was in elementary school. I caught a bad case of Dengue Fever when I was in 6rd
grade and had to spend a few days in the hospital. The nurses there was so caring and it made
me feel stronger even though I was sick. I wanted to be the one who gave my patients the
energy and the positivity to get healthy again.”
Mrs. Dyah : “Alright. You also mentioned that you have worked for 8 years as a nurse.
During your experience, have you ever come across a patient that wasn’t satisfied with your
care?”
Tia Arini : “Of course. I believe it’s a normal thing to encounter in this line of job. But what I
did is I try to assess what went wrong. Maybe they act like that because of their own problem,
or maybe it’s because of me. If it’s because of me i would take time to reflect and try to be
more understanding towards my patients”
Mrs Dyah : “Okay. So, tell us why we should hire you?”
Tia Arini : “I believe that I could contribute a lot to hospital Wiradadi Husada and that all of
my energy and care would totally be focused on helping and taking care of my patients.”
Mrs. Dyah : “Last question. What are your strengths and weaknesses, please state each?!”
Tia Arini : “My strengths are, namely: I was meticulous and careful in work, I love to learn
new things and I always do things on time. My weaknesses are, namely : I am always too
excited when working so sometimes forget the time, I am too eager pursuit my goals so It
always make me over action, and I am not pleased to work slowly, causing me always in a
hurry every doing something.”
Mrs. Dyah : “Alright. That’s about it. Do you have any question?”
Tia Arini : “Maybe I would just like to ask about the work hours?”
Mrs. Dyah : “We work in shift here, so there’s 3 shifts, day, evening, and night. Your shift
will rotate every week.”
Tia Arini : “Understood. Thank you so much for having me.”
Mrs. Dyah : “You’re welcome. We will let you know the result by the end on this week.
