Session Objectives At the end of the sessions, learners will be able to,

Advocating the negative and positive effect of media perceptions of
body image and sexuality
Key concepts
Social media conditions us to be aspirational and do upwards
comparisons, where we feel worse about ourselves and our bodies.

The effects of social media on your body image can lead to serious
negative consequences for your psychological and physical wellbeing.
Our thinking patterns can become hijacked, and we may begin to
notice exaggerated or imagined flaws in our physical appearance.

III. Teaching strategies

attendance let the learners choose a partner and
let them introduce themselves by pair into short
commercial advertisement)

Exploration

Let the learner/s say something about the picture.

1. What can you say about the picture?


2. If anyone describe you the word that is written
there, what have you feel?

Listen to a short video presentation and listen very


carefully, take note about the important details
about the video.
