2. INTRODUCTION

L : We have come together as the family of God in our Father’s presence, to offer Him
praise and thanks giving, to hear and receive His holy word,to ask His forgiveness of our
sins, and to seek His grace, that through His Son, Jesus Christ we may give our selves to
His service.

3. CONFESSION OF SIN

L : Let us confess our sins to almighty God.

C : Almighty God,

We confess that we have sinned against You in thought, word and deed: we have notloved
you with all our hearts: we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. Have mercy upon us:
cleanse us from our sins; and helpus to overcome our faults. Through Jesus Christ our

C : I believe In God, The Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.I believe in Jesus
Christ, His only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, and born
of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell, on the third day He rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is
seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I belicve in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the
forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

His food was locusts and wild honey.

NIV: Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in
