Hebrews 9:24-28
(He did it Only Once)
Amplified Bible
(24) For Christ did not enter into a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but [He entered] into
heaven itself, now to appear in the very presence of God on our behalf;

Weymouth New Testament

(24) For not into a Holy place built by men's hands--a mere copy of the reality--did Christ enter, but He entered
Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.

Contemporary English Version

(25) Christ did not have to offer himself many times. He wasn't like a high priest who goes into the most holy
place each year to offer the blood of an animal.

Good News Translation

(25) The Jewish high priest goes into the Most Holy Place every year with the blood of an animal. But Christ did
not go in to offer himself many times,

International Standard Version

(25) Nor did he go into heaven to sacrifice himself again and again, the way the high priest goes into the Holy
Place every year with blood that is not his own.

Contemporary English Version

(26) If he had offered himself every year, he would have suffered many times since the creation of the world. But
instead, near the end of time he offered himself once and for all, so he could be a sacrifice that does away with
sin.

(26) Otherwise, He would have needed to suffer over and over since the foundation of the world; but now once for
all at the consummation of the ages He has appeared and been publicly manifested to put away sin by the
sacrifice of Himself.

Appointed here means: What does appointed term mean? To be appointed is to be given a task or job.

(28) so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin
but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

We are On Probation: Individuals who receive probation from the court (God’s Court) do not have to
spend time incarcerated (in sin, separated from God). Probation is a period of time (while you are still on
earth) during which a person who has committed a crime (2nd degree murder) has to obey the law (the
rules of God) and be supervised by a probation officer (The Holy Spirit), rather than being sent to prison
(destruction, torment, Hell). People being supervised (by The Holy Spirit) must behave as stated in their
court order (keeping their promise to live their life ONLY for Christ Jesus according to The Word and
Will of Father God).

True worship of God is when we love Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. It's when
we Prize God above everything else and put Him first in our hearts.
