There shall be no water, damage or broken traces on the exterior of packing case.
Such information as the specification, type and quantity of the glass shall meet the requirements.
The visible surface of glass and sheet metal shall have no bubbles, mechanical damage, etc.
If the inspection items above are beyond the specification requirements or do not meet the requirements,
be sure to stop using or correct the glass car!

Only the car components corresponding to the elevator number can be used for installation,
and the car components for other elevator number shall not be borrowed and used.
If the quality of the product is detected to be abnormal, it shall not be installed forcibly.
Be sure to report it to the project manager immediately and then obtain the handling suggestions from the
factory.

12.2 Relevant Installation Work Required to Be Completed

Prior to the installation of glass car, the relevant corresponding installation work is required to be completed
for the elevator.

12) Remove all the protective films.

12.3.3 Instructions on Applying Sealant to Glass

Step one: Complete the installation of the glass according to the layout position in general assembly
diagram and adjust the position of the glass between the top and bottom sills. Generally the clearance shall be
2-3 mm between the glass and the interior/exterior decorative sheets, and the clearance shall be 3-5 mm
between two pieces of glass, this is the foundational work and must be accomplished well, otherwise no
remedying work is possible after applying sealant.
Note: The adopted sealant shall be neutral transparent glass glue.

Step two: Bonding interior decorative sheets: Before bonding them, check whether the interior decorative
sheets fit the car panel to ensure appropriate assembling. Clean the bonding surface to be free from dust or
greasy dirt; apply sealant or adhesive tape onto the interior side face (or the outer surface of sill) of the interior
decorative sheet, pay attention to the top, down, left and right positions when bonding the interior decorative
sheets and bond them only after confirmation; after bonding, external force is required to be continuously
applied on them for 12 hours to strengthen the bonding, then external force can be removed.

Copyright as per GB/T 19827 50/65 Product Design Center (China)

R100005259E Ver: A
Step three: Remove dust and dirt on the glass within 5 cm of the sealant position. Apply masking tape on
the glass at the edge of the sealant position so that the sealant will not be applied to other positions. Note that
a seam of 3-5 mm between masking tapes shall be reserved for applying sealant, and ensure the straightness
of the bonded masking tape.

Step four: Select the proper type of sealant opening according to different gaps for sealant.

Copyright as per GB/T 19827 51/65 Product Design Center (China)

R100005259E Ver: A
Step five: When applying sealant, it is required to adopt a top-down or bottom-up method, and manual
force and moving speed shall be uniform. Immediately after the sealant is applied, use hand wrapped with film
or other smooth items to scrape the sealant, to ensure that the thickness of the sealant line is uniform, and the
bond between the glass is firm.

Step six: After the sealant is scraped, remove the masking tape in the reverse direction of applying sealant;
pay special attention to protect the position of masking tape, which shall not be touched or crashed in 12 hours;
12 hours later, check whether it needs to be corrected or repaired (note that after the masking tape is removed,
do not make repair immediately, but wait for 12 hours before repairing it). The method is the same as above, i.e.,
paste masking tape before applying sealant.
Step seven: Finally, remove the protective film after confirmation (note that the protective film shall be cut
off along the bending edge of steel plate before being removed).

12.3.4 Inspection after the Completion of Installation

1) The installation site shall be cleaned upon the installation of car.

2) Check whether the surface of glass is intact with no foreign matter.
