M12 × 40 Bolt
Detailed components:
1. Car roof; 2. Upright
Installation instructions:
Firstly hoist car roof onto the predetermined position: Fasten the two ends of the belt to the front part of
car roof to hoist the car roof into the shaft, adjust the car roof to the right position (namely the decorative
surface of car roof faces towards the landing door entrance), then slowly place the car roof under the top beam
of car frame by using the chain hoist right above door entrance. Use the other chain hoist and belt to pull the
rear edge of car roof, and coordinate the two chain hoists to make the car roof horizontally rest above the
upright.
Lower the car roof that has been hoisted to the predetermined position for connecting to the car panels
via hexagon socket bolt assemblies, and for connecting to the uprights via bolt assemblies reserved on uprights.
Use tape to measure the diagonal lines of door entrance, and the difference between them shall not be greater
than 5 mm. Finally secure all the connection bolts.
Note: Before installing the top beam, it is required to install COP cables in advance.

Detailed components:
1. Car-roof toe guard plate; 2. Car roof
Installation instructions:
Toe guard plate shall be connected to car roof via M4 self-tapping screw. During the installation, note the
distance from toe guard plate to top beam and to door header, and avoid the interference.
Prior to unpacking, ensure that the workplace shall be spacious, tidy and free from water.
Only the car components corresponding to the elevator number can be used for installation,
and the car components for other elevator number shall not be borrowed and used.
If the quality of the product is detected to be abnormal, it shall not be installed forcibly.
Be sure to report it to the project manager immediately and then obtain the handling suggestions from the
factory.
Prior to the installation of glass car, the relevant corresponding installation work is required to be completed
for the elevator.
1) Installation of shaft components such as guide rails, rail brackets, etc. shall be completed.
2) Assembly of car bottom, which is supported at a certain height above the pit according to the safe
buffering distance, shall be completed.
3) Other necessary installation shall be completed.
Here the panoramic elevator car is taken as an example for introducing the installation process of three-
side glass car, which can be used as reference for one-side glass elevator car.
Preparations→installing car bottom→installing car panels→installing car roof→installing decorative sheet of
car bottom→installing vertical beam→installing decorative sheet of car roof→installing handrails→installing
decorative sheet of front panel→applying sealant and other tail-in work.
Installation instructions:
Before installation, remove the protective films from the connection faces of all the car panels, then install the
car bottom with M6 × 20 flat head Allen bolt so that the car bottom is connected with the rear bottom sill (note
that the one with hardy holes shall be installed inside the car). Use hammer to correct the perpendicularity of
car panels to car bottom so that it is not greater than 5 mm.
The exterior
surface that is
provided with
double faced
adhesive tape
shall be the upper
side of the car.
Installation instructions:
Install the left and right panels in sequence. Prior to installing the left and right panels, firstly lift them up,
clip fasteners into the hardy holes in rear bottom sill, use hexagon socket bolts to fix the left and right glass
panels (note that the left and right panels are an entire pane of panel wherein the surface with double-sided
tape is the exterior side and also the top side of car panel); during transporting the panels, please note that the
rear glass is movable, which shall face upwards without bearing of any force during its transportation; pay
attention to the marking on rear glass (avoiding installing it in reverse); fix the rear glass with suction cups,
insert the glass into the long seam in the rear bottom sill , fasten the glass with rear top sill, then adjust the
positions of the three panes of glasses.
Installation instructions:
The decorative sheets for car bottom are composed of three pieces of materials, rear C-shaped enclosing
sheet, one left sheet and one right sheet. Upon confirming that they are in good condition, clip them into the
car bottom. In the later step, secure the car bottom with the self-tapping screws for car bottom cover plate.
8) Decorative sheets for car roof:
3 4 2
Detailed components:
1. Decorative sheet for car roof; 2.C-shaped decorative sheet for car roof; 3.Decorative sheet for car roof;
4.Bracket
Installation instructions:
See the diagram for the installation of decorative sheet for car roof, wherein the left and right decorative sheets
are spliced ones, which shall be inserted into the inner side of uprights for installation, and the C-shaped sheet
is integrated one. Note that check whether the decorative sheets are in good condition before removing the
sticker of the rear double-sided tape. Press the double-sided tape with force upon completion of sticking it; the
inner side of the decorative sheet shall be connected to car roof via brackets, and use ST4.2 × 16 self-tapping
screw for the connection of the brackets and car roof.
Installation instructions:
The handrails shall be installed inside the car, so it is required to fix fasteners onto left and right car panels
in advance before installation of handrail. Upon securing the fasteners, firstly fix the rear handrail, clip the
handrail into fasteners in order, then turn the bolts under the handrail with Allen key, and secure the bolts so
that the handrail will not get loose; then fix the handrail onto the left and right car panels with hexagon head
bolt.
Decorative
sheets for
front panels
Installation instructions:
Upon completion of the installation of handrails, fix decorative sheets onto left and right front panels with
(M4 × 12) cross-recessed countersunk head screws.
Installation instructions:
Upon completion of the installation of car, the cover plate for car bottom shall be installed. And also the
cover plate and the installed car-bottom decorative sheet shall be fixed to the car bottom stiffener via hexagon
socket cheese head screws (M4 × 12 flat head).
Step one: Complete the installation of the glass according to the layout position in general assembly
diagram and adjust the position of the glass between the top and bottom sills. Generally the clearance shall be
2-3 mm between the glass and the interior/exterior decorative sheets, and the clearance shall be 3-5 mm
between two pieces of glass, this is the foundational work and must be accomplished well, otherwise no
remedying work is possible after applying sealant.
Note: The adopted sealant shall be neutral transparent glass glue.
Step two: Bonding interior decorative sheets: Before bonding them, check whether the interior decorative
sheets fit the car panel to ensure appropriate assembling. Clean the bonding surface to be free from dust or
greasy dirt; apply sealant or adhesive tape onto the interior side face (or the outer surface of sill) of the interior
decorative sheet, pay attention to the top, down, left and right positions when bonding the interior decorative
sheets and bond them only after confirmation; after bonding, external force is required to be continuously
applied on them for 12 hours to strengthen the bonding, then external force can be removed.
Step four: Select the proper type of sealant opening according to different gaps for sealant.
Step six: After the sealant is scraped, remove the masking tape in the reverse direction of applying sealant;
pay special attention to protect the position of masking tape, which shall not be touched or crashed in 12 hours;
12 hours later, check whether it needs to be corrected or repaired (note that after the masking tape is removed,
do not make repair immediately, but wait for 12 hours before repairing it). The method is the same as above, i.e.,
paste masking tape before applying sealant.
Step seven: Finally, remove the protective film after confirmation (note that the protective film shall be cut
off along the bending edge of steel plate before being removed).
