Notice: DAA Practical Exam

The Design and Analysis of Algorithms (DAA) practical exams will be

conducted on June 08, 2024 following these modalities:

1. Exam Platform and Location:

- The exam will be conducted on HackerEarth in two different
shifts at GEHU, Bhimtal.
1st shift - 09:00 am to 12:00 pm
2nd shift - 01:30 pm to 04:30 pm

2. Exam Format:
- Students will receive four questions and must attempt any two
to pass both the written and execution parts. The viva will be
conducted separately.
- Students can attempt all four questions, but the maximum score
will be capped at 25 marks.

3. Exam Access:
- The faculty in charge will receive a link and password before the
exam and can share the links with students 20 minutes before the
scheduled time. No take-from-home tests will be permitted under
any circumstances, and attendance will be strictly monitored.
- Once all students have logged in, the faculty can distribute the
password. Students must disable two-factor authentication before
coming to the lab as no phones will be allowed inside.

4. Prohibited Items:
- Students are not allowed to bring any electronic devices,
including mobiles, tablets, laptops, and smartwatches.

5. Exam Rules:
- Students are not permitted to leave the exam for any reason
during the 1.5-hour duration for both execution and write-up.
