In contrast to a language, food

narrates tales about our origins
and identities. It forges
connections, keeps customs alive,
and unites people. It's about
celebrating life, sharing stories,
and expressing love, not just about
eating. Dishes from different
cultures are a reflection of their
values, history, and location. Food
is thus more than just a source of
nutrition; it plays a critical role in
our ability to comprehend and
relate to one another.
Embracing our history and identity
by loving the food we grow
ourselves. It builds a sense of
belonging, improves our sense of
cultural pride, and ties us to our
heritage. By savoring the tastes of our
own food, we honor our heritage,
traditions, and the backstories of each
recipe. It's also a delightful way to
stay connected to our neighborhood,
family, and the customs that have
shaped who we are. Food is culture
just like what Ms. Clang said during
the PEP talk.
