Welcome
The Open Workbench r1.1.6 (Clarity 8.1.0.03.4354) Release Notes lists the
changes made to this version of Open Workbench. This document contains
installation instructions, system requirements, and a cumulative list of
addressed issues and enhancements for this fix pack and the last release.

Note: See the Open Workbench User Guide for more information about using
Open Workbench.

Installation

Before You Start

Before you start the installation process and you have an existing installation
of Open Workbench installed on your machine, uninstall it.

Important! The Open Workbench installer resets view library configurations.

If you have a previous version of Open Workbench installed and you saved
customized views, these customized views are removed from the library when
you reinstall Open Workbench. After you have installed the updated version of
Open Workbench, you can add your customized views back to the default
views folder.

Note: See the Open Workbench User Guide for more information on adding
views to library groups.

3BOpen Workbench r1.1.6 (Clarity 8.1 Base) Addressed Issues

Open Workbench r1.1.6 (Clarity 8.1 Base) Addressed Issues

The following issues have been addressed in this release:

Issue # Summary Description

CLRT-11869 You cannot set a baseline on specific assignments. When

you choose to rebaseline the view or selected tasks, the
project baseline values are not updated. You must select
all levels of the WBS to rebaseline your project, view, or
selected tasks. When you rebaseline tasks that have
changed, such as changes to a resource's ETC, the data
is not rolled up to the summary task level. Data is rolled
down to a phase's tasks when you rebaseline at the
summary task level.

CLRT-13290 Baseline usage and BAC are calculated incorrectly.

CLRT-8225 You cannot baseline projects with partial subprojects.

CLRT-12476 Autoscheduling can cause negative ETCs, which can

cause an error when running Autoschedule.

CLRT-11024 Entering ETC for a resource that has a default allocation

set to zero changes the ETC value to a question mark (?).

CLRT-13276 Deleting baselined tasks/assignments affects task BAC

value.

CLRT-9810 If you format the variance as a percentage, the variance

does not aggregate properly to the parent level.

CLRT-15550 The EAC at the summary task level is the aggregate of

the detail task EAC, not the summary task data.

CLRT-12952 Autoschedule does not respect resource constraints.

CLRT-12916 When creating an external dependency, an error occurs

when changing it from successor to predecessor.

CLRT-11407 A random character incorrectly displays at the end of the

build number in the About window.

CLRT-11869 You cannot set the baseline for specific assignments.

CLRT-15288 BCWP and BCWS at the summary task level are

aggregates of the detail tasks or assignments and are not
using their own baseline data.

CLRT-15063 When changing the current baseline ID, the project

appears to have no baseline.

CLRT-15846 Removing a role staffed more than once to a project

removes all assignments for all of the role’s instances.

CLRT-18305 Usage variance is calculated from the assignment

baseline usage values rather than from the task baseline

Issue # Summary Description

usage.

CLRT-9798 Aggregation of the Open for Time Entry task field at the
phase and activity levels displays inaccurately.

CLRT-13276 Deleting baselined tasks and assignments changes the

summary task BAC when they should remain the same.

Open Workbench r1.1.6 (Clarity 8.1 Base) Enhancements

The following enhancements are included in this release:

ERQ CLRT-16650: Unexpected Empty segment in Actuals curve causes scalecurve to produce
inaccurate results

When you display actuals as a cost, the displayed amount does not match the
actuals amount. With this enhancement, if you display actuals as cost, the
amounts now match.

ERQ CLRT-16304: Do not set timestamps to 00:00 on holidays

When you create a milestone task and set the start or finish date to a non-
workday, the milestone appears to have a finish date that is earlier than the
start date. This is because both dates are set to midnight on the same day.
Finish dates always display the date ending at midnight whereas start dates
display the date starting at midnight.

With this enhancement, if you enter a start date, then the start and finish
dates are set to 08:00 that day. If you enter a finish date, then the start and
finish dates are set to 17:00 that day. This enhancement also applies to tasks.

Note: This enhancement does not affect the display of milestones or tasks
that currently exist and that have a start and finish date set to midnight.
