Respected Sir,

I am writing this letter to invite you to the event being organised by the Industrial Monitoring
and Automation Lab (iMAL). iMAL is the first research, development, and productization
Laboratory supported by the Government of Pakistan that envisions to bring fifth industrial
revolution 4.0. The lab is delegated by the National Centre of Robotics and Automation
(NCRA) set up by the Planning Commission of Pakistan in 2018. We are highly trained and
professional individuals who indigenously develop world-class technology for local industry
as envisioned by NCRA, to meet growth rate utilizing our resources as per international
standards.

Using the latest Internet of Things (IoT) technologies we have developed both hardware and
software solutions and products to cut operational costs and time while continuously striving
to bring a positive change in our local industry and keeping the costs of our
products/services to the bare minimum as our competitive advantage.

Dedicated teams of iMAL provide quality workmanship at all of our projects, coupled with on-

Recently, we have developed a motor test bench facility that can measure and analyze the following
parameters of the induction motor.
1-Voltage 2-Current 3-Real Power
4-Reactive Power 5-Apparent Power 6-Power Factor
7-Temperature 8-Torque 09-Speed
10-Losses. 11-Total Harmonic Distortion

Our motor test bench comprises various test which helps in motor parametric characterization,
analysis of industrial motors rated for the load requirements, and achieve a longer lifespan. These
tests include:
1-No-Load Test 2-Locked Rotor test 3-Full Load Test
4-Measurement of Losses 5-Temperature Rise Test 6-DC Winding Resistance
Test
7-Load-Current Curve 8-Torque-Speed Curve 9-Load-Speed Curve

Therefore, the potential impact on power-saving and performance optimization is enormous for the
industries to expand their businesses. In respective special KPI setup by the NCRA for IMAL is Motor
Characterization and Improvement facility. We propose to achieve the target relevant to this KPI on
the motor test bench and 3-Phase Condition Monitor device.
