Minute 1: Preliminaries
i. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Hadley Kagoni at 3;30pm and a word of
prayer from Mrs Imali Heyi.
ii. Mr Kagoni Hadley Asege led members in introducing themselves.
iii. Mr Ainea Mangira gave introduction remarks stating the purpose of the meeting.

Minute Reading and confirmation of previous minutes

i. The secretary read the previous minutes and were confirmed by Roselyne
Muhonja and Ainea Mangira as the true minutes of the previous meeting.

Minute 3: Matters arising

i. The members were given a chance to debate and give the way forward to the
group and they agreed to form a welfare organization whose objectives
were;
(a) To bring all members together
(b) To work together as a group
(c) To assist each other in terms of emergency
(d) To promote group unity
Minute 4: Opening of bank account
The members agreed that there shall be a bank account to keep all the group finances.

The members agreed to open a bank account with the equity bank and to have a paybill
number for easy transactions.

The members also agreed that the signatories of the account shall be the:
(a) Chairperson
(b) Secretary
(c) Treasurer [mandatory signatory]

Minute 5: AOB
Members suggested to have a rotational executive meeting to strengthen the welfare.

Closing remarks were made by Mr. Ainea Mangira Kihima, he encouraged everyone to
make the union strong.
Adjournment
The minutes shall be confirmed in the next meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 pm with a word of prayer from Philip Luvaga Adori.
