What is Report Text?
Report text is a text that presents detailed
information about something in general
based on research.
Social Function
The social function of report text is to inform
the readers about certain functions or
detailed information of a participant or an
object.
Generic Structure

1. General Classification : Introduce the subject of


the report and provide general information about it.

2.. Description : Describe the subject in detail,


including its physical characteristics, behavior,
habitat, and other relevant information.
Language Features
1. Use simple present tense
Most use common nouns and adjectives. Use passive
sentences (passive voice).
2. Relating verbs or connecting verbs, for example is, am, are,
look,seems, feeling and so on.
3. Timeless present tense, using simple present tense time
markers. Forexample usually, often, always and so on.
4. Technical terms, using terms related to the topic or
discussion ofthe report text.
5. Use conditional connectors such as: when, so, while, etc

Spinach
Almost every people across the world know this vegetable,
spinach is very popular for its vibrant green color. The leaves have
an oval shape and wrinkled. It has slightly bitter taste and tender
texture but all of that are paid of with nutrient rich inside this vegies.

Spinach, scientifically known as Spinacia oleracea. It belongs to


the amaranth family and it is originally from Persia (Middle East)
but in nowdays era it is very famous across the world.
Spinach are available in spring. They can also be found during the
summer months, although their quality is somewhat inferior. They can be
frozen, so they can be consumed like this all over the year. The optimal
conditions for its storage are temperature around 0ºC and a percentage of
95-98% of relative moisture. It grows easily in sandy or clay soils.

SPINACH
Spinach is a leafy green vegetable that’s popular across the world especially in
Asia continent. As opposed to the great majority of the flowering plants or plants
used as vegetables. This plant often consider as dioicous plant meaning different
plants can have either female or male flowers. The flowers are small, green and
unattractive to pollinators. Rather, pollination occurs via wind anemophily, for
which the pollen has evolved to be very small and light so it can be carried large
distances, often miles away. This vegetable is easy to get and not difficult to plant
because it can grow in low-land. Spinach usually grows quicker in warmer weather
but it depends on the characteristics place that we lived. Spinach is an excellent
source of vitamins A, C, and K, as well as minerals like iron, folic acid, and calcium.
It’s also contains antioxidants that help protect the body from oxidative stress and
inflammation. Additionally, it's low calories and high fiber, making it great choice
for weight management (diet). Most of the calories in this vegetable come from
protein and carbohydrates. Spinach can be eaten in various way whether in raw
such as salads, and cooked in soups, curries, or casseroles.

How to make a grill spinach sandwich
INGREDIENTS :
2 Servings
1/2 cup spinach
4 slices brown bread
1/4 cup grated mozzarella
4 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon powdered black pepper
1 tablespoon virgin olive oil
sugar as required
salt as required
1 tablespoon hung curd
STEP :
Step 1 / 4 Cook Spinach For The Sandwich
Place a pan on a medium flame and add oil to it. Chop the spinach, garlic
and grate mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Add chopped garlic and spinach
along with sugar and salt and saute it until the spinach leaves turn soft.
Don't overcook them.
Step 2 / 4 Prepare The Filling For Sandwich
In a medium-sized bowl add hung curd, black pepper along with cooked
spinach and whisk it well.
Step 3 / 4 Fill The Breads Slices And Grill Them
In the meantime, set up the grill and let it get hot. Now take two slices of
bread and add a spoonful of the prepared mixture and spread it across
the slices. Sprinkle some grated mozzarella cheese on both slices and
cover them with the other two slices. Place the sandwich on the grill until
it turns crunchy.
Step 4 / 4 Serve!
Serve with a dip of your choice. Do try this recipe, rate it and let us know

Tips :
If you don't have a grill at home, you can also toast the sandwich on a
hot tawa for 1 minute per side or until both sides turn golden.
You can also add a handful of boiled peas or sweet corns to the
filling to add an extra crunch.
