1. What is Science?

Science is the study of the things that surrounds us. Science helps us to understand how
things are created and how things work. It also helps us to discover the mysteries in the
earth. Science helps us to discover cure people with illnesses. Science is literally
everywhere around us. With the help of science it makes our life easier.

2. What are the three 3 main branches of sciences? Specify each descriptions.

The 3 main branches of science are the Physical Science, Biology, Earth Science.

Physical Science studies about the speed and motion of the things around us. It helps
us to calculate the movement of the things around us.

Biology studies about life. It helps us to understand about the living matter that
surrounds us. It studies about the structure of life. It helps us to understand how we
were created and what makes us function.

Earth Science studies about the things about our earth. It helps us about the structure
of our earth and how old is our earth. It also focuses about the solar system and the
whole universe since astronomy is a branch from earth science

3. Why do we need to study Earth Science?

We need to study earth science to answer our questions about our earth and the things
that surrounds it. With the help of earth science we can have knowledge about the
structure of our earth and the components of it. Earth Science also helps us to
understand about the other planets. Also with the help of earth science we will be aware
of how typhoons are formed and how earthquake works. We will be also educated on
what should we do when we experience typhoons and earthquake.

4. Connect the importance of Earth Science to your strand

Earth Science is connected to my strand because in ABM we will manage people in our
company and with the help of earth science I can lead them about these natural
disasters and I can inform them on how to deal with typhoons and earthquake. I can
also share my knowledge about earth science to my future colleagues in work.
