Value labels  Data Editor: where you see your data matrix (includes “Variable view” and “Data view”).
Output Viewer: where you see the result of your commands.

Data manipulation Syntax Editor: where you can input your commands without using the drop-down menu.

Presenting your results Note:I will only illustrate how to use the drop-down menus.

SPSS commands However, if you are interested in continuing into more advanced statistics, I encourage you to explore the syntax editor. It is a useful tool to
reproduce your analysis later on, even with different datasets.
