JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Procurement & Logistics Supervisor


Sector: Mining
Location: Ghana
A leading provider of mining services, dedicated to delivering excellence in every aspect of our operations. We are
committed to safety, sustainability, and innovation, and we are seeking a dynamic Procurement & Logistics Supervisor to
join our team.

JOB STATUS: Full time

DURATION: Permanent

RESPONSIBILITIES: -

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

➢ Oversee the procurement process for goods and services required for mining operations, ensuring
compliance with company policies and procedures.
➢ Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier
performance to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
➢ Coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to
support operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
➢ Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as project managers and engineers, to identify
procurement needs and develop procurement plans aligned with project timelines and budgets.
➢ Monitor inventory levels, track procurement costs, and analyze data to identify opportunities for cost
savings and process improvements.
➢ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to procurement,
logistics, and supply chain management.
➢ Supervise and mentor procurement and logistics team members, providing guidance, training, and
performance feedback.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS: -

➢ Bachelor's degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or
a related field.
➢ Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics roles, preferably in the mining or heavy
equipment industry.
➢ Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, supplier relationship
management, and inventory control.
➢ Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and
work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
➢ Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
➢ Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and drive results in a fast-paced
environment.
