Final Capstone Project Reflection Questions

(Please give specific detailed answers.)

1. In the process of completing your Capstone Project, what did you learn about your subject?
What did you learn about your skill set? What did you learn about yourself?

During the process I learnt that how important and how valuable is time management and also it
helped me in practicing my skill and improved my game. I also improved on personal awareness
and responsibility towards making the videos, editing and posting them within time and try to
finish my capstone faster and better.

2. How is your project relevant to you? How is it relevant to the school? How is it relevant to the
community?

I have been playing badminton for the past 6-7 years and I always challenged myself for my
every game to make it to be the better version of the pervious. Sometimes I help my brother and
friends when I see them making a mistake or to improve their shots and game.

This could be helpful for the people who want to learn or improve their game and I have seen
many men and women who play for fun try to make their game little challenging and
competitive. So these videos will help them and even kids who are just making their way through
badminton.

3. What impact did your Capstone have on you?

I am a guy who wouldn’t take much photos and post it on social media or interact much on social
media, but had to change myself for my capstone and it wasn’t that bad and as I made the videos
I learnt how to edit was the interesting part. The other way it changed me to be more prompt and
manage my time for my academics filming and editing the videos and posting them.

4. What aspects of your project are you most proud of?

Finishing my capstone the way it was supposed to be and made, the content and message by
which I wanted to help all improve their game or if they are just starting off, learning on their
own with no trainer.
5. What was a difficulty you encountered while researching your Capstone project? How were
you able to overcome those obstacles?

At the start of my capstone I was thinking about what kind of videos should I be making and
what could the topics be and how to shoot them. At first I thought of making one straight long
video and explaining it, but that didn’t work. Then to solve it out I went to my mentor to talk
about and she gave me the idea of making videos of how to serve, hit a drop shot, do a clear a
video of me playing a game and explaining it.

6. What is the one thing you would have changed about your project if you could?

I would make my capstone with me talking, as I had some audio issues and my voice wasn’t
getting recorded and even if it got recorded it was very feeble. So I would work on that and try to
make more better videos when I progress and get better.

7. What advice would you offer to future Capstone students to help them with their Capstone
journey?

Figure out what you are strong at, which you can explain better and confident enough. Start
planning from the day 1 of you getting introduced to capstone and just keep making progress on
it every 2 weeks and try your best to improve as much as possible to finish it to its finest. Meet
your teacher to get his opinion on your capstone and check what and how much you can
improve, get feedbacks from your friends and family like reach out to the people you know and
show them what you did and where you are and change it if needed. Be on time to finish your
capstone and other assignments related to the class and manage your time for your daily
timetable and your capstone.
