PATHOLOGY REPORT
GROSS: Specimen received consists of three soft tissue pieces measured 3×2.5×1 cm;
cut section revealed firm fleshy cut section.

MICROSCOPIC: Serial sections examined from the specimen received revealed

pieces of moderately cellular tumor formed of pleomorphic oval, rounded cells showing
irregular hyperchromatic nuclei, scant cytoplasm with high mitotic figures arranged in
nest separated by desmoplastic stroma.

DIAGNOSIS: Left Chest wall Mass, Incisional Biopsy, CONSISTENT WITH

MALIGNANT SMALL BLUE ROUND CELL TUMOR for
immunohistochemistry classification to rule out Sarcoma, lymphoma, Small cell
Carcinoma others.
