Opening Remarks
❖ Mcs enter from the center of the room
❖ Walk while you talk to the stage
❖ Greetings to all attendees and pass gratitude for their attendance
❖ Hype everyone and set them in the mood of a closing Ceremony
❖ Remember to be brief and share conversation equally
❖ Blend with the audience and make them feel the stage and them is one avenue
❖ Introduce Kelvine Valentine
❖ Exit stage from one direction different to the one Kelvin will use to stage

After Kelvins speech

❖ Stand at the bottom of stage and pick a leaf from kelvins speech
❖ Link the leaf to Sibongo’s poem e.g “ As Kelvin said, This is the end of the conference
but There’s someone who begs to differ, please welcome Sibongo with a poem to prove
that as much as this is the end of a conference it is the beginning of a youth led Era”
❖ Move from spot you were standing at in the same direction

After Sibongo’s Poem

❖ Enter from same direction and stand at the center of stage
❖ Pick a line from Sibongo’s poem and use elaborate a little on it
❖ Welcome committee dynamics for Committee awards
❖ Exit stage at same direction different from one to be used by committee dynamics

After committee dynamics

❖ Enter from same direction and stand at the corner of the stage different from speaker’s
podium
❖ Congratulate award winners
❖ Welcome Dean Derek for his address
❖ Exit stage same direction

After Dean’s address

❖ Stand at a different point of the room not the stage
❖ While Joseph makes way to Piano thank Dean Derek for his speech and pick a leaf from
it
❖ Introduce david for a serenading piano piece
After Joseph
❖ Enter stage from same direction and stand at the center stage
❖ Comment on Joseph’s performance
❖ Welcome Committee dynamics for second segment of awards
❖ Exit stage on different directions
After Awards
❖ Enter stage from different sides and stand at far ends of stage with screen at the center
❖ Congratulate award winners
❖ Talk about “ summaries” as you introduce the screening of the ALAMAU summary
