The activist fight of Jamie Margolin

Jamie Margolin, who was born in 10st december 2001 in Seattle (USA), is one of the most
influencial climate activist in the world, with Greta Thunberg. Her religion is
Jewish and sheidentifies as a lesbian. And now, Jamie has 21 years old.

Also, Jamie Margolin attended Holy Names Academy and studied film at New York
University'sTisch School of the Arts.

She began an activist because it happened a terrible huracan called María in Puerto
Rico in the year2017, and in Seattle, where she lived, there was a lot of pollution. As a
resuet of this, it was difficult to breath.

Therefore, in 2017, when she has 15 years old founded a action of climate change
(Zero Hour) withNadia Nazar, and in 2019 Jamie and a group of people denounce the
state of Washington, for its
inaction on climate change.

Morover, in 2019, she was included in the prestigious list of 100 Women, published by
the BBC.

And she wrote many books, for example: Youth to power, Your voice and How to
use it. She alsowon awards, for example the award of the generation of the change.
