IE 323: Computer Application in IE II

Course Project
Students are supposed to create a small/medium size information system
based on any real-life problem, e.g., book rental, car rental, student
information system, etc.
Project Guidelines:
• Each student must develop a unique project within the class, so please take
topic approval from the instructor before starting the Project.
• All the techniques taught in the course should be applied.
• It is an individual project.
• The students will be asked to present their Projects. Each student must run the
Project and display all the functioning.
• At least add Five innovations in the Project you did not study in the class.
• The Project has a total of 20 graded marks.

Project Report :
• The project report should consist of the following:
o Introduction of the Project
o How your Project is supporting the environment.
o How your Project will contribute to society.
o Please estimate the approximate cost of your Project with valid
justification.
o Please provide a comparison of your Project if developed by using any
other development tool e.g., C#, visual basic, etc. Please compare your
Project with reference to project cost, programming difficulty, and
user-friendliness. (At least compared with one other tool).
o Will your Project contribute to Health and safety? If yes, how?
o Explain the sustainability of your Project.
o Write its code and explain the procedure for all the innovations
added to the Project.
o Table creation commands for all the tables created in the Project.
o Screenshots of the forms and reports.
o Conclusion of the Project.
o Please provide the softcopy of the information system along with the
report.
o Following Tables of alternative design and innovations must be
attached to the report.

Comparison of your Oracle project with one developed by using any other development tool like
C#, Visual Basic, etc. Comparison should be done based on the criteria given below. (Use the
following template & At least comparison with one other tool is must).
