Duties and Responsibilities with G4S from 2018 to current

I started my carrier with G4S as a static guard on the 03rd of september 2018,generally safeguarding of
properties and clients safety,
do patrols, checking out reportable stuff for clients such as fuel storage in gen sets, lights, water supply
etc.. Write reports of unusual, operate and carry out Site Operating Procedures (SOPs) and so on.
After three (3) months as a static guard I then moved to Man Power Unit and performed duties as a
Posting Driver where vehicles got to be checked to ensure it is mechanically functional; guards are
picked up at assigned timings as well as postings are done according to client’s expectations and quickly
responding to operation’s command for further job executions.
On early 2019 I did move into Response & Transport Unit as an Escort Officer that its duties like
respond to sites that have encountered problems; running up thief’s vehicles, cover up sites, escort VIPs,
unarmed & armed escorts, cash in transit, attend to alarm activation, do patrols and give updates, arrest-
write statement and hand over to police and so on... these are done in compliance of operational command
and control at the basement or Operation Center.
Another six or seven months; the operation team assigned me as a Radio Operator inside G4S National
Operation Center (NOC) that basically facilitated all the administrative work. Most notable
responsibilities are monitoring client’s vehicles via Trackers using Global Positioning System (GPS)
apparatus installed in vehicles. Also monitor fire alarming systems for clients, monitoring CCTV
cameras, receiving inbound telephone calls and disseminate information to respective managers or clients,
monitor tagging at respective sites, coordinate transport services, dispatching and generally running the
Daily Operations nationally and so forth.
On the same note, in 2020 I was assigned to Simberi Gold Mine Operations in Kavieng, New Ireland to
execute duty as Security officer(guard) where all excess controls were strictly monitor; vehicles moving
in and out of any entry were strictly checked, recordings of in and out timings, drivers are monitored,
safety rules are followed, take note of every movement in and out, conduct Rapid Alcohol Testing (BAC),
write statements and send reports of every unusual to Base Controls, and so on all that comes under
security in mining sites.
From early 2021 I was sent back to Pom and worked as a CCTV and Radio Operator at the St John
Ambulance Services; Taurama Aquatic Center. In this perspective, I do monitor all excess points,
location perimeter must be clear in all times with all client’s assets must be fully intact, make sure that
Clinical Staff are fully comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when dealing with C-19
patients, ensure that every perimeter is cleared for safety purposes, close observation on red zones where
C-19 patients stays so that none of them move out of the isolation station.
Coordinate vehicles for pick up and drop off every staff via client’s radio base station at the command
center, keep close contact with staff at various sites to get themselves ready for pick up, closely monitor
drivers and advise them when to leave and whom to pick up according to structural roasters from clients.
These are done in a timely manner, effective and coordinated in a tight schedule of the C-19 operations.
Assist Clients in relaying and transferring daily information using 2x Base stations, Responsible in
running the security operations on site following the SOPs of the Location etc..

From early 2022 I was then promoted up to Operation Base Commander 03 (Posting Master) which I
looked after about forty plus G4S locations (sites) including ExxonMobil Contract in two different units.
This is all to do with running every daily Security Operations.
