Hello GP Hiring Committee,

I would like to submit my interest for the RDA/Dental Assistant position with GP in Palo Alto. With
my experience regarding young children, education, and detailed record-keeping, I am confident in
my ability to perform this position above expectations.

I have been a teacher of young children for the better part of 10 years, and have assisted with
medical emergencies on several occasions. As an infant/toddler teacher both at Action Day Primary
Plus and Gymboree Play & Music, daily occurrences included bloody noses, smashed mouths, loose
teeth, and various bumps and bruises from head to toe. I am very skilled in balancing children’s
nerves in new experiences and giving positive feedback while still providing detailed information to
parents/guardians.

Working in a dental office would be new for me, but I am extremely confident that my experience
and education (Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Development) will make me a valuable
asset to your team, and a fast learner. I am in the midst of a career shift from NPO work to
something with more opportunities for upward mobility and networking, and I would like to work
on gaining new skills in large-scale coordination as well as build on my existing abilities as
described above.
