helmet was an
influential
design of
combat helmet
originally
produced for
the French
Army during
World War I.
These were
used to protect
their heads
from head
wounds.

was going on The story is written from
the perspective of Tommy as he plays
war, calling his collection of ships his
navy. He also tells of how his parents
contribute to his navy when his father
buys him a ship and his mother sews
sails for one that Tommy is carving.
