Explain the rules of Football, Cricket, Table

tennis, Badminton with figure.


Football (Soccer)
Basic Rules:
1. Teams and Players: Each team has 11 players, including a goalkeeper.
2. Objective: Score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team's net.
3. Game Duration: Two halves of 45 minutes each, with a 15-minute
halftime break.
4. Starting and Restarting Play: The game starts with a kick-off from the
center circle. Kick-offs also restart play after a goal is scored.
5. Ball In and Out of Play: The ball is out of play when it fully crosses the
goal line or touchline.
6. Scoring: A goal is scored when the ball fully crosses the goal line between
the goalposts and beneath the crossbar.
7. Offside: A player is offside if they are nearer to the opponent's goal line
than both the ball and the second last opponent when the ball is played to
them, unless they are in their own half or level with the second last
opponent.
8. Fouls and Misconduct: Direct free kicks and penalty kicks are awarded
for direct fouls; indirect free kicks for other infringements.
9. Free Kicks and Penalty Kicks: Taken from the spot of the foul (free kicks)
or the penalty mark (penalty kicks).
10. Throw-ins, Goal Kicks, and Corner Kicks: Restart play when the
ball goes out of bounds.
Cricket
Basic Rules:
1. Teams and Players: Two teams of 11 players each.
2. Objective: Score more runs than the opponent.
3. Match Format: Formats include Test matches (5 days), One Day
Internationals (50 overs per side), and T20 Internationals (20 overs per
side).
4. Innings: Each team takes turns to bat and bowl/field.
5. Batting and Scoring Runs: Runs are scored by hitting the ball and running
between the wickets or hitting boundaries (4s and 6s).
6. Bowling and Fielding: Bowlers deliver the ball to the batsmen; fielders try
to catch the ball, stop runs, or dismiss batsmen.
7. Wickets and Dismissals: Batsmen can be dismissed by being bowled,
caught, run out, LBW (Leg Before Wicket), stumped, or hit wicket.
8. Overs: A set of six deliveries bowled by one bowler.
9. Boundaries: A ball reaching the boundary scores four runs if it touches
the ground and six runs if it clears the boundary without touching the
ground.

Table Tennis
Basic Rules:
1. Equipment: Played with a small ball and paddles on a table divided by a
net.
2. Scoring: Matches are usually best of 5 or 7 games. Each game is played to
11 points; players must win by 2 points.
3. Serving: Each player serves two points in a row and then switches. The
serve must bounce once on each side of the table.
4. Returning: Players must return the ball so it bounces on the opponent's
side of the table.
5. Winning Points: Points are won by the opponent failing to return the ball
properly, missing the table, or violating rules.

Badminton
Basic Rules:
1. Equipment: Played with a shuttlecock and rackets on a rectangular court
divided by a net.
2. Scoring: Matches are usually best of 3 games. Each game is played to 21
points; players must win by 2 points.
3. Serving: The serve must be hit underhand from below the waist and must
land in the diagonally opposite service court.
4. Rallies: Players hit the shuttlecock back and forth over the net. The
shuttle must not hit the ground.
5. Winning Points: Points are won when the opponent fails to return the
shuttlecock, hits it out of bounds, or commits a fault.
6. Court Boundaries: Singles and doubles have different boundaries.
