HOPES stands for Helping Out Promising Elementary Students.

The Project will be held in Pandacan, Manila, on May 15, 2021, from 5:30 to 11:30 AM. The beneficiaries
are 60 unenrolled children in Pandacan, Manila, aged 6 to 12. The initiating section is our section, A4,
and the facilitator will be Mr. Mario Mission. The project will be needing 2, 017 pesos for it to be
executed properly. Later I will show you where the needed money will be spent. The venue, Participants,
materials will be provided by the community to lessen the project cost.

Project HOPES is about teaching and helping the unenrolled elementary students in Pandacan, Manila
for free. It aims to provide knowledge to these children and enhance their basic literacy skills even if,
they are not enrolled in any school.

Our team will be executing this project. Some are designated to teach, others are for games and
activities, and Some are for giving prizes and souvenirs. Our team is going to teach Math and Science
lessons, and For each subject, we'll be providing activities. And in the last part, we’ll be giving them
inspirational messages.

Project rationale

According to the Department of Education, owing to the COVID-19 crisis, nearly 4 million students have
not enrolled for this year. There is a 27 percent drop in the proportion of the overall enrollees from last
school year in NCR. For that reason, even though they are not enrolled in any school or institution, we
decided to come up with an idea that can assist unenrolled students to acquire information and
learning.

Beneficiaries

The primary beneficiaries of our group project are the unenrolled students in Pandacan, Manila, aged 6
to 12. We would like to support these kids because they need assistance and help with their schooling.

Project objectives:

• To provide supplemental knowledge and free tutoring to unenrolled elementary

students in Pandacan, Manila.
• To enhance the basic literacy skills of the unenrolled students.
• To make sure that the unenrolled students can keep up when they return to
school.
