 Introduction
 Law are formal rules that govern how we behave as members of society that specify what we must
do and what we must not do.
 Morality on the other hand refers to an informal framework of values, principles, beliefs, costumes,
and ways of living.

 Relationship between Law and Morality


 Law and Morality are two system that govern the way humans behave.
1. Law is a body of rules and regulations that all people are mandatory obligated to adhere to.
2. Morals on the other hand, refer to general principles or standard of behavior that define human
conduct within society but are not compulsory to be followed.

 Difference between Law and Morality


 Law and Morality may be interdependent to an extend have certain similarities such us the same
goals, but there are certain factors based on which the two concepts can be differentiated.

1. Law is derived from an external source which means that it is obtained through rules and
regulations.
2. Law treats all people in the same manner and doesn’t change from person to person but morality
is a subject concepts.
3. Morality has influenced the certain of laws but morality existed society since even before legal
implications were discussed.
4. Disobedience of the law leads to punishment but there are no repercussion of doing anything
morally wrong.
5. Law lay down mandatory behavior that is expected out of the people who are governed under the
said law. Howeover morality does not lay down strict guidelines of how one should behave but is
more personal concept.

 LEADERSHIP STYLE ASSESSMENT

The leadership skills assessment has to do with your predominant leadership style. Keep in mind the most
leader will flex their leadership style to the situation, this is appropriately termed situation leadership.

1. Coaching Leadership Style - Coaching leader enjoy developing people that may one day be the leaders

of the company. They have a great deal of self awareness and enjoy helping others improve their skills.

2. Coercive Leadership Style - Coercive leader often demand immediate compliance with their orders.

This type of leader has an extreme drive to achieve.

3. Authority Leadership Style - Authority leaders often try to mobilize workers towards a vision.

Authoritative leader also demonstrate a lot of empathy.

4. Affiliative Leadership Style - The Affiliative leader like to create harmony and build relationships in

the workplace.

5. Democratic Leadership Style - The Democratic leader like to get others involved in the decision

making process.

6. Pace setting Leadership Style - Pace setting leaders set high standards of performance of themselves

and other around them.

 There are good reasons to focus on school leadership. The importance of the principal’s role has never
been greater, taking in consideration national accountability standards for schoool.

 Not only do effective principal’s focus attention on curriculum and teaching, they also understand
teaching and posses credibility in the eyes of their staff.

 Principals support instructional activities and programs by modeling expected behavior, participating in
the staff development and consistently prioritizing instructional concern on a day to day basis.

 They strive to protect instructional time by removing issues that would distract teachers from their
instructional.

 Moreover, principals in effective schools are involved in instruction and work to provide resources that
keep teachers focused on student achievement.
