Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with a proposal for the new reference Church. The
proposal includes architectural and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering services as
follows:

PROJECT SCOPE Architecture & MEP Eng Fee: $39,450.00

MPZ Architects, PC will work together with Church Design Resources (CDR) to develop and create
a 10,454 square foot church building, to include 682 square foot attic space, and a 950 square
foot exterior canopy. MPZ Architects, PC will manage the project’s Mechanical Electrical, and
Plumbing engineering design team, and collaborate with CDR. We will work in the following
phases;

Design Development (DD):

• Based on the Schematic Design Floor Plan and Elevations provided by CDR, we will
continue with the development of plans for review and Approval.
• Review and Coordinate with Metal Building Package
• Review and coordinate with equipment specifications for the project.
• Design and Coordinate Conferences with Owner and Engineers.
• Design and Coordination Conference (s) with CDR, Inc.

Construction Documents (CD):

• Based on the approved Design Development Documents and any further adjustments
in the scope or quality of the Project, we shall prepare, for approval by the Owner,
“Construction Documents” consisting of required Drawings.
• MPZ will coordinate and develop drawings as required from the information provided by
CDR, Inc.
• Provide a 60% construction document set to be reviewed with Owner and Engineers.
Comments will be included in the 90% set.
• Provide a 90% construction document set to be reviewed with Owner to confirm all
comments were addressed from the 60% design review.
• Design and Coordination Conference(s) with Owner, and Engineers.
• Design and Coordination Conference with CDR
• Drawings to be issued, but not limited to the following;

o Cover and Code Information

o Architectural Floor Plan
o Reflected Ceiling Plan

o Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering Drawings ($13,000.00)
o Review, Reject and/or approve all General Contractor Shop Drawings and
Submittals
o Address all Request for Information

Payment Schedule
For the architectural and engineering services described above we propose a lump sum fee for
Services in the amount of $39,450.00. Payment will be based on the breakdown of task as follows;

Breakdown and Payment Schedule:

SERVICES NOT INCLUDED IN THIS SCOPE

 Changes to the overall building footprint following the 60% CD Owner review.

 Design of Off-site Utilities
 Payment of Development/Tap/Impact Fee/Building Permit Fees
 As-built Site Surveys
 Civil Engineering
 Soil Borings
 Special Inspections or Third-Party Inspections if required by Forsyth County Inspections,
to include the following, but not limited to
 Structural steel framing
 Concrete sampling and testing,
 Fire proofing
 Soil compaction testing
 Soil bearing testing for over 2000 psf,
 Spray applied fire protection,
 Light gage steel framing utilized as bearing walls

MISCELLANEOUS REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES

 Mileage at $0.65 cents per mile.
 Courier Service Fees, Cost plus 10%
 Reproduction Fees, Cost plus 10%

 We will be pleased to assist with any additional service not included in the scope of this
proposal at your request. These services can be provided in a fee proposal or at the following
hourly rate:
1. Architect/Engineer $175.00/Hour
