PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Fully Glazed Single Leaf or Double Leaf Sliding Door Assembly-

The door leaves are constructed using Forster Presto - ref: 32.851, 32.852 & 32.855 sections, 50mm x 50mm
(wide x depth) steel profiles with 20mm flanges. Forster Presto - ref: 32.852 sections are used as transom member
in the door leaf. Forster Presto - ref: 32.855 sections are used as bottom rails and as a meeting stile of the door
leaves.
2mm Intumescent strips (Ref: 948000) are used along the meeting stiles.

The perimeter areas between the interface of the door leaves and the supporting construction are secured using
an overlap between 2mm thick bended galvanized steel sheets. 25mm x 2mm Intumescent strips (Ref: 948000)
are used along the perimeter lining.

The door leaf is glazed with fire rated glass ref: Contraflam Door Lite, 11mm or Contraflam Lite 120, 14mm thick
glass (single or IGU configurations) from Vetrotech Saint-Gobain International AG using 15 x 4mm (w x t)
ceramic glazing tape (Forster ref: 948004). 14 x 2mm thick intumescent tape (Forster ref: 948017) is self-adhered
around the perimeter of the glazing panes.

The glass is supported on calcium silicate setting blocks- ref: Flammi 12 (nominal – 3 to 5mm thick) and kept in
position using steel glazing beads (Forster ref: 901228) pressure fitted over studs (Forster ref: 906579) spaced
nominally 70mm from the corners and every 250mm c/c and also fixed using M4.2x50mm stainless steel screws
spaced nominally at 500mm c/c.

Door Driving Mechanisms allowed - Geze – Powerdrive PL, GEZE – ECdrive, Assa Abloy SL500, Dorma ES200,
Tormax TXP, Gilgen - SLX-M and SLX-V. The driving mechanism type and installation will depend on hardware
manufacturer’s specifications considering factors like door size (width and height), weight and operational
requirements.

Supporting construction – Sliding door assemblies may be installed in standard rigid supporting construction and
associated supporting construction – Fire Rated Forster Presto or Forster Thermfix Vario 45 & 60 fully glazed
fixed partition assemblies.
