1. Scope Statement (Define Scope process)
This step is critical to project success as it requires the development of
a detailed
project/product description to include deliverables, assumptions, and
constraints and
establishes the framework within which project work must be
performed.
The scope statement can only be finalized after the project
requirements have been
identified and defined during the requirements definition process.
2. Work breakdown Structure (Create WBS process)
This process breaks down the project deliverables identified in the
project scope
statement into progressively smaller and more manageable
deliverables which, at the
lowest level, are called work packages.
The WBS hierarchical structure allows for more simplicity in
scheduling, costing,
monitoring, and controlling the project.

Product Scope
1. To design a 2-year Student Exchange Program at Centennial College for Graduate
Certificate programs of the Business School for both domestic and international students
which includes an exchange in the last two semesters as a part of the curriculum.
2. To make available the information about the new programs to potential students through
media like college brochures, college website, college’s social media pages/channels.
3. To deliver orientations at the time of application and departure to new students who take
admission to exchange programs.
4. To provide counseling to outbound students for selecting the potential institutes.
5. To facilitate outbound students in applying to international institutions and securing them
the admission.
6. To support outbound students during the visa application process by providing
necessary college documents.
7. To create an assistance team for students to report any concerns while abroad.
8. To accept applications of international students and select the students based on
selection criteria and availability.
9. Organize engagement activities for inbound students for a smooth transition.
10. Organize quarterly feedback sessions with the students.
11. Maintain a student database to keep a track of progress made for each student’s
application.
12. To co-ordinate the student information and their academic performance with partner
institutes.
