To,

The Dean ,
Faculty of law, BHU
Date:- 29/05/2024
Subject:- Request for the conducting classes in online mode
Respected sir ,
We are writing to formally request permission to conduct classes in online mode as
the Faculty of law has decided that there will be no summer vacation in 2024.

As during this summer, there are anticipated heatwave warning by the Indian
Meteorologcal Department and as the temperature rise, it is crucial to prioritize the
health of students as it may cause following issues:-
(a) Extreme heat can pose significant challenges for- in person learning, leading
to discomfort, fatigue and potential health issues like dehydration,
headstrokes, etc.
(b) It is also difficult to sit continuously from 8:00 AM to 2:00PM without any
break as we are not able to get proper breakfast and then there is no lunch
break also .
(c) During the summer vacation majority of the services of the BHU are likely
to be shut down including the health center which could increase the health
risks to students.
By conducting classes online, we can mitigate the impact of heatwaves on the
learning process and maintain the quality of education. Online learning will
provide the flexibility to access the classes from any location allowing students to
remain focused on there studies.

We request that there should be one week of offline classes before the semester
examination so that we could be psychologically prepared for it.
Thank you for considering this request. We believe that prioritizing the safety and
well-being of our students and faculty is paramount, in these extreme weather
conditions.

Your sincerely,
