Subject: U18 Men's State Championships Confirmation of attendance and Cost and deposit
requirements

Hi team,

Kerri, Ronin and I have been confirming details of the State Championships with the Club and can
now provide preliminary details of the week and also require confirmation of attendance and
deposit so we can secure the accommodation and then remainder of funds to be paid by end of
year.

Also note that the Club will invoice you separately about a month before State Champs a cost of
$150 per player for the team nomination and referee fees – so that is not included in these costings.

The expectation from the Club is that the boys will play the State Championships as a team but it is
also an optional attendance therefore if any of the boys are not able to attend just speak direct to
Ronin or Kerri.

Accommodation and check in of team – Monday 10th January

All 4 teams are confirmed to stay at the Gold Coast Performance Centre in Runaway Bay

The Club has booked a Quad Room for the Boys Green and White team to share.
Ronin, Dean and Kerri will be onsite with boys for the entire week and accompanying to and from
games. We have a 12 seater bus catered in cost so the team can travel together to Stadium each
day.
(Along with the 3 other team Coaches and Managers also staying onsite– the boys will have many
supervisors and most are seasoned participants in this week so will be very clear on rules and
responsibilities to all the players at the start around conduct and behaviour expectations)

Check in is the day before the games start; Monday 10th January, if you can drop boys at the Centre
between 3pm-4pm. If any boys need transport from Sunshine Coast please let Kerri or Ronin know
as this can be organized.
Ronin and Kerri will be there to check boys in and complete room allocation.
Parents can then go onto their own accommodation.

We will have further email come closer to the time in relation to any other items the boys need to
bring to the accommodation.
Any questions in relation to room allocation/accommodation don’t hesitate to chat with Ronin or
Kerri.
State Championship game dates

Tuesday 11th January 2023 – 15 January 2023 @ Metricon Stadium in Carrara

We will not know our schedule of games until early to mid December, but games are every day and
ending on the Sunday 15th January.
We will have checked out of the Performance Centre the morning of 15th January, so you can take
boys home from our last game or again if require transport back to Sunshine Coast please just let
Kerri or Ronin know.

As spectators you will need to purchase tickets for the event, this can be done in advance once the
schedule is released – will also have further details/information once this is available to us.

activities at the Centre. (activities to be done as a group dependant on every teams schedule, such
things as BBQ/Pizza night, Movie and Trivia night, Laser Tag, ice baths, team building and prep
seminars run by professional athlete -all on-site)

We have our name down for a Bunnings BBQ and hopeful to get this which can see the cost adjusted
with monies raised on the day.
