 ABSTRACT

The report provides a comprehensive overview of the machine specifications and initial setup
procedures for the Cylindrical Grinding machine for Spool OD Finishing Operation. This
includes details about the machine’s operation, operating system, axes, spindles, coolant, and
grinding wheel specifications. The report also presents a list of tools, consumables, and wear
parts required for the machine and detailed operating procedures are provided to ensure safe
and efficient machine operation and includes the work done on the Tag Welding Fixture. The
report concludes with an overview of process parameters, product check characteristics, and
quality control procedures. This report offers a comprehensive profile of RANE (Madras)
Limited, shedding light on its history, values, operations, and quality control measures, while
also providing insight into its significant contributions to the Indian automotive industry.
