0 SOP and troubleshooting

If plant has reported any issue regarding industry 4.0:

It could be following;

1. Machine is showing No connection.

Steps to solve:

 Check for Ethernet connection at every end, from machine to raspberry pi.
 Try pinging the machine from raspberry Pi.
 Disconnect and connect the cable.
 Escalate for L2 support with prior step results
 L2 will escalate for L3 support.

2. Dashboard is showing Data IO error.

Steps to solve:

 Check for Ethernet connection at every end, from machine to raspberry pi.
 Check Ping of machine IP through Raspberry Pi.
 Try pinging the machine from raspberry Pi.
 Disconnect and connect the cable.
 Check if the raspberry Pi software is running.
 SSH is accessible or Not.
 Values are coming over raspberry Pi or not.
 Escalate for L2 support with prior step results
 L2 will escalate for L3 support.

3. Connection is Ok but strokes are not coming.

 Check if the software is running on raspberry Pi.


 Check value at Modscan.
 Check the internet connection of raspberry Pi.
 Check if the values are received over raspberry Pi.
 Escalate to implementation team for checking address of data registers
 Escalate for L2 support with prior step results
 L2 will escalate for L3 support.

4. Machine Showing unrealistic values:

Steps to solve:

 Check value at Modscan.


 Check the value received over raspberry Pi.
 It can be an implementation issue.
 Escalate for L2 support with prior step results
 L2 will escalate for L3 support.

5. Dashboard machines ae showing Grey signal:

Steps to solve:

 Check value at Modscan.


 Check the power ON status of raspberry Pi.
 Check the ssh status of raspberry Pi server.
 Escalate for L2 support with prior step results
 L2 will escalate for L3 support.
