Introduction
 Design Engineering is basically a new idea to make students aware of different
systems and make them understand how they work and how management is
done. By designing a basic structure of any system we can get into it and can
know various facts about it which we would not be aware of even though we
have used them daily. So this Subject aims at understanding and deeply
knowing any system which we take as a part of our project.
 Our Project was on the topic Smart Library. Bank we use daily in
our daily life. Through this project and by selecting this topic we,
team wanted to bring some revolution in the system where we
might be lacking in comparison with the Technology. Today
Technology has brought world at our footsteps. We can do
anything by just sitting at home or by using technology things are
made easier and faster .So the main aim of our team was to make
the Banking System more technology oriented, more reliable and
more faster so to compete with the world.

 Domain selection

"Smart Library" this system's can be made both by android & php
programming but after some kind of research and observations we saw there
were some difficulties been faced in php programming and more coding is
been needed in this and it also becomes complicated so after learning and
observing many programmes we made our Website though php js,html and
css.

 Chapter-2

Observation

 During the observation process of our project "Smart library" we

observed that the management of library is not good. There is a long
queue of students and very crowded atmosphere.

 Also student have to wait for long period of time for issue/return book.

 Even for opening a new account they are taking four-five days. These
processes are very time consuming.

 Library staff handle a tedious task involve sorting, lending, returning,

tagging, eyeing on books. To overcome these obstacles, we design
website for student, teachers as well as librarian.

 With the help of website librarian can handle database of student, who
is/are issuing/returning the book. The data of books are also managed
online.
