TWILIGHT’S EMBRACE
by Kimberly Lagmay
The moon wears its silver cloak,
a celestial dancer through the cosmic smoke.
Stars twinkle like diamond in the sky,
as if the night itself hums a lullaby.

The city that never sleep,

its heartbeat is the traffic’s beep.
Towers with giant steel,
is a place where dreams learn to kneel.

The wind that whispers in my ear,

is a nature’s confidant that’s clear.
Love blooms like a rose, fragile yet bold;
Petals opening, a story to be told.
