Overview of the conference:

Inclusive educational approachprovides the best environment for learning for all students. In
inclusive education, students with different needs learn in the same context. With the advancement
of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, it is expected that they will contribute further that meets
the individual needs of diverse learners.

The 6th Global Education Forum (GEF) aims to accelerate global progress towards achieving
inclusive, equitable and quality education for the children and youth of India towards making them
responsible Global Citizen. The National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 emphasizes that,
“Education is the single greatest tool for achieving social justice and equality” which has
implications for development of an inclusive community and society at large.

In this backdrop, Indian Chamber of Commerce is set to organize the “6th Globalised
Education Forum” (GEF) on 1st March 2024 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

The objective of this event is to elaborate the background of inclusive education and enumerate the
present status of inclusive education in India vis-à-vis diverse global learning needs. India
announced new initiatives to promote inclusive education, aiming to enhance digital infrastructure,
provide educational resources in regional languages, expand skill development opportunities and
adopt pedagogy that prioritize special needs for education. It emphasizes the importance of
nurturing creativity and critical thinking in students to equip them for future challenges.

Equitable Education
The principles of diversity, equity and inclusion if embedded within the school education system it
will lay the foundation for access to schooling for all. In order for policy to translate to practice,
educational barriers, facilities and services for economically disadvantaged children and children
with special needs must be addressed. Moreover, the NEP has infused the aspects of disability
inclusion throughout the policy document with a dedicated chapter on equitable and inclusive
education by focusing on issues, challenges and recommendations for addressing the same. Our
task is to implement facilitating systems for the same.

 Digital Blueprint for Smart Education: Transforming Education with the power of
Artificial Intelligence
The traditional educational model has often struggled to cater to the diverse needs and learning
styles of every student. Artificial intelligence (AI) offers a transformative solution to this challenge
by customising learning. AI in education can provide students with personalized learning routes
that are tailored to their objectives, interests, and knowledge base. AI maximizes learning
outcomes by customizing the content and pace to each pupil's specific requirements. This way,
students are given the right challenges and assistance
Driven by AI innovation, education can become more inclusive and effective. As a society, we
must embrace this evolution and work together to ensure that education continues to be a beacon
of opportunity and growth in an ever-changing world.

 Strategies for HEIs and Roadmap for Future-Ready Institutions


The accelerating changes in the field of technology is leading to faster and profound changes in
social and cultural milieu, has necessitated the higher education to keep pace with the emerging
trends and prepare students for life in the expected as well as unexpected future reality. The
challenge in front of us today therefore, is to create future ready institutes to take care of our
upcoming generations and reap the benefits of its demographic.
By embracing multidisciplinary education, HEIs can create a nurturing environment, that prepares
students to be problem-solvers, creative thinkers, and possess the cognitive flexibility and
emotional intelligence to be mature individuals who can contribute effectively to society while
excelling in their chosen professions.
