Introduction
In today's competitive educational environment, understanding students' performance across
different subjects is crucial for educators and policymakers. This project focuses on analyzing
the scores of 40 students in Nepali and English of grade XI. By systematically collecting and
organizing the data, we aim to form continuous frequency distributions and employ statistical
tools to examine the uniformity of the marks. This analysis will provide insights into which
subject students perform more consistently in, thereby helping educators identify areas that may
require additional support. To achieve this, we will: 1. Collect the scores of 40 students in Nepali
and English. 2. Organize the data into continuous frequency distributions with a class size of 10.
3. Use statistical tools to calculate the mean, standard deviation, and coefficient of variance for
each subject. 4. Analyze the results to determine the subject with more uniform marks
distribution. 5. Present the findings in a clear and understandable format. This project not only
emphasizes the importance of statistical analysis in educational assessment but also provides a
comprehensive approach to understanding students' performance in different subjects.
