7.1 Since the ball profile of DSLA Nozzle is not hardened, extreme care to be exercised in
handling the Injectors and Nozzles at all levels. Do not use emery sheet or any hard
material to clean the ball profile of DSLA nozzles

Caution:
1. THE DRIVE SHAFT SHOULD BE IN "FREE POSITION" (INJECTION TIMING LOCKING SCREW
SHOULD BE ASSEMBLED WITH INTERMEDIATE PLATE ) BEFORE RUNNING THE PUMP
ON THE TEST BENCH.

2. AFTER SETTING THE INJECTION TIMING ON THE ENGINE, THE INTERMEDIATE PLATE TO
BE ASSEMBLED (TO MAKE THE DRIVE SHAFT FREE)
