Requirement of Safe Exam Browser (SEB is essential). SEB isa web browser environment for conducting secure e-assessments. The software briefly transforms any PC into a secure workstation. It restricts access to resources such as system operations, other websites, and applications and inhibits the usage of unauthorised resources during an exam.

https://safeexambrowser.org/download_en.htmland install it on the desktops or laptops only. Students can get a SEB configuration file from their email attachments. Double-click to open the file. It would lead to the students' portal in the SEB browser. Log in with the shared credentials. Upon validation of credentials, an OTP will be sent to the student’s registered mobile number on their first login. One needs to enter the OTP for mobile verification and submit. After their first login, the password must be changed by the student. Press the ‘Read’ button to start reading a chapter. After completing the chapter, press the ‘Complete’ button on the last page to submit the chapter. Once the submission is complete, an automated email will be sent. The email will contain secure credentials necessary to access the upcoming examination, along with a SEB configuration file. Students must log in within 7 days of receiving the credentials. Each student is allowed a single login attempt for the examination of a particular chapter. The examination must be completed within a 2-hour time frame. After the submission, if one is qualified, the next chapter will be made available in the student’s portal.
