Practical Training: Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing

1. Draft a plaint and written statement to recover possession

of immovable property. Also prepare an execution petition in
case of decree in favour of plaintiff.
2. Draft a divorce petition by wife on the ground of cruelty
and also draft written statement from the side of husband in the
same matter.
3. Draft an application for maintenance of wife under section
125 of Cr.P.C.
4. Draft a suite on the behalf of husband for restitution of
conjugal rights under section 9 of Hindu Marriage Act 1955.
5. ‘A’ was sentenced with 3 years imprisonment on the
charges of theft. After completion of the given sentence the Jail
authorities failed to release him within stipulated time period.
Consequently, ‘A’ had to remain in the prison for extra two years
due to the negligence of concerned authority. Draft a suite on the
behalf of ‘A’ for the compensation for damages caused by the
above said negligence.
6. Draft a writ petition in Habeus Corpus for illegal detention of
your friend.
7. Draft a writ petition of Mandamus for not disposing off
wastage by municipal authority in your city.
8. Draft a writ petition of Quo-Warranto for a primary school
teacher who is not having the required educational qualification
to hold the post.
9. Draft a public interest litigation in the following matter:
You are a law student, studying in a law college which is
situated on the outskirts of the city, recently after winter vacation
you found that a marriage Hall has been built annexed to the
college premises which is frequently causing the disturbance in
academic activities.
10. ‘A’ is accused of murder of ‘B’ by giving him poison.
Prepare a bail application for accused. Prepare a memorandum of
appeal in case of conviction in the same matter.
11. Prepare a draft of the following:
I- Sale deed of a residential house.
II- Mortgage deed of an immovable property.
III- Gift deed, out of natural love and affection, of an
immovable property.
IV- Leased deed of an immovable property.
V- Power of attorney (General).
VI- Will (of a father distributing his movable and
immovable property among his two sons and two daughters.
