Wireline operations (8 Hrs) – Overview

service.
Day3 • Wireline testing, surface equipment, and PCE for S/L and braided line
(PCE, GIH, BOPS, pump in sub, Lubricator sections, etc).
 Wireline surface equipment list layout
• Depth correlations
 R/U consideration and testing.
• Casing inspection log EMIT/PMIT
• Spectral Noise Tool (SNL)
• Production logging tool (PLT)
• Unit maintenance check.
• Cement LogsReservoir saturation tool

Slick line tool string and operations consideration (8 Hrs) - Overview
 Common completion string (TRSCSSSV, Nipples, GL SPM
mandrils, SSD, etc).
 Subsurface safety valve mechanism, locking.
 Common S/L tool string (Rope socket, stem, jars, knuckle joint,
X-overs, blind box, gauge cutter, swaging tool, LIB, sample

Day4
 Operations considerations especially for highly deviated wells,
HPHT.
 Contingency (Well control, fishing operations).
Day5 Course Review & Evaluations

The course has different types of formal assessments such as written


exams pre- course is written exam in (CT, Stimulation, N2, Slickline, and
Wireline), class participation, homework assignments, daily Quizzes,
projects, presentations, and final written or online exams. Results could
be provided to Bohai within one week of the end of each class. Please
note we will only provide the scores or grades; we will not provide a
copy of the exams or evaluations.
