The mission of the Green Hill Resort is provide quality hospitality services to our
quest in a comprehensive and cost competitive manner, providing the finest
accommodation here in Kenya and outside the country in united states of America
CHAPTER TWO

COMPANY MANAGEMENT
Green hill resort is headquatered in Nairobi Kenya

The company is owned by partners, john kimani, and kelvin mathenge where john
kimani has an experience of 20 years in hospitality and also creating and
managing organization for environmental and economic development. Oriented
companies involved in national wide project.

Kelvin mathenge has an extensive experience of 10 years with the area of the
business in development – related issues including finance.

The management of green hills resort consist of co- owners that is John kimani
and kelvin mathenge, will be taking part in the management role on the company.
CHAPTER THREE
PRODUCTION PLAN
Our customers will be either local residents or even citizens from outside the
country.

Meals offered by our resorts are different types of food and drinks as well as
your room and resort amenities.

The major category of the food service is

MARKET PLAN
Green hills resort is representative of the five star brand within our country, our
resort are bountque properties offering between 25 and 50 exclusive rooms. Our
properties are renowned for their convenient and strategic locations within the
major cities through the country.

It has also shown that due to population increase is creating an increase demand
for our services.

OUR COMPETATIVE ADVANTAGE
Currently there are several resort in the area but we have done all preparations to
shake them and put them down.

Our biggest competitive part is that we have an access to natural resources that
are restricted from competitors

name is simple in memory and sounds unique and the same time assuring that the
products and the services being offered by the business will satisfy the customers
expectation needs and wants

Green hills resort is a business which will be located in Nairobi Kenya where we
satisfy our customers needs and wants. The following reasons led to choosing of
the business location is.

acquired from enterprenurship education thus becoming an enterprenuer.

Products which will be offered will be food drinks and places of leisure activities
venues such as: Football playground and swimming pool at affordable price

There will be qualified chefs who will be satisfying you meals for breakfast, lunch
and dinner

The premises will be offering full course menu food, bear wines and spirit

A relaxation room will be available at affordable prizes. There will be free


internet and friendly waiters who will be offering quality goods and services to
our customers

1.5 JUSTIFICATION OF THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY


The location of the business will provide a large base since it is in a capital city:
Nairobi

It will be easy for the travellers to access the premises, there will be readily
available skills due to a high population in the area.

It will lead to creation of the employment amongst the youth since the business
will need labour.
1.6 THE INDUSTRY
Green hills resort will be under hospitality industry. Green hills resort has
developed through the new technology where we engage through online
advertisement and booking.

There is high competation in the industries because many enterprenuers are


establishing new food and drinks businesses which has led to high competation.

Green hills business varies with seasons depending on foreigners who visit the
coutry. On our peak seasons is during where the business has a lot of gain.

1.7 BUSINESS GOAL


1.7.1 SHORT TERM GOAL
The aim of starting the business is to improve the living stardards of people in
Kenya by employment opportunities and expanding the business by building new
structure.

Green hills resort will offer employment to the youth since the business will need
labour and also improve infrastructure in the area

1.7.2 LONG TERM GOALS


By the end of six to five years green hills resort will have attained higher profits
whereby the business will open onerther business in the neighbouring town
Nakuru.
Since the business have made a lot of profit there will be enlargement of the
business leading of more laborers. The business will purchase a bus which will be
taking the employees to work and back at their residents

1.8 ENTERY AND GROWTH STRATEGY


This includes how the business will penetrate and successfully exist in the market
marketing profit

1.8.1 ENTRY STRATEGY


The business will offer quality goods and services to capture the greater
percentage of customers at a fair price.

This will ensure that the business will maintain its customers.

1.8.2 GROWTH STRATEGY


After six years business will expand as there will be different branches situated in
the neighbouring towns

There will be a need to employ more man power since there will be
improvement of infrastructure

Due to high population the business will be able to expand to cater for the
demand of the population thus increasing profit the expansion of the business
will ensure that we can cater for the using demand of our goods and services.

2.0 MARKETING PLAN

The business will be catering for customers depending on the customers


need. These customers will include institution, commercial and individual
customers.

2.1 institutional customers


The business will be catering for people around the area eg. Student. The
instituational customers will be targeted at the end of the term where the students
have performed well will be brought to enjoy themselves

ADVANTAGES OF INSTITUTION CUSTOMERS ARE

 Products will be sold on daily basis

 They will buy products in large amounts due to the population of students
in the location

2.1.1 commercials customers

The business will be selling products to the customers who will be buying in
green hills resort. The advantage of commercial customers to the business will
vary on how they sell the products out there. The purchasing power will be high
thus increasing our profits

2.1.2 individuals customers

These are customers that will be highly targeted. The business will be offering all
the time eg breakfast, lunch and dinner

Advantages of the customers are that there will be more profit as individuals
customers may in large number
