STUDENT TEACHING

WEEKLY REFLECTIONS

WEEK: 14 DATES: May 13,14 & 17, 2024

I. OVERVIEW

This week was a successful one since we had our final examination. My grade 9 was
able to passed especially the other section. I was happy while recording their scores. This
week also made a special memory and experience since May 17, Friday was our final day or
our Exit conference. A successful conference indeed with the support of the Palale National
High School stake holders, the Principal, Cooperating Teachers, Co-interns and the students.

II. TEACHING HIGHLIGHTS

1. Overall this week went successful because of our exit conference, also because our
Student Teaching coordinators from Abuyog Community College was able to attend.

2. I achieved success this week because my students gave me a worthy scores with their final
examination in my subject.

III. CHALLENGES FACED

I was challenged by the fact that I am worried with the results of the examination, at
the same time me and my co-interns were challenged by the exit conference where we needed
to hold, an exit conference that we weren’t experienced and have no fixed idea. This week
made us plan before the day of May 17 th. From making invitation letter, down to making the
program and arranging the venue.

IV. LESSONS LEARNED

1. I have learned that having exit conference is a duty and responsibility of us, the interns, all
the teachers need to do is to wait for our update and attend the program.
2. If I were to relive the week, I will have asked others in advance regarding on the exit
conference so that we wouldn’t be cramming the day before the program

V. GOALS AND ACTION PLAN:

Prepare and ask everything beforehand.

VI. SUPPORT NEEDED:

I needed support especially from a group of people who will are interested in helping
each other just like my co-interns. A help from my Cooperating teacher who lend us her room
as our venue, and who make the room more clean by asking her students. A support from my
Teaching Coordinators whom I have felt the sincerity of coming or attending the exit
conference given that the area was far from the school.
VII. PERSONAL REFLECTION:

I thought it was the school who will prepare everything except the food. But our bad
not knowing it beforehand, but because I have a strong and cooperative group of interns, we
were able to accomplished the last task. My heart was full this week because of this
achievements, being able to attest myself that I am worthy being a teacher for a short period
of time to my Grade 9 Bronze and Silver, that they gave me good results on their
examination.
Being able to speak in front of our Student Teaching Coordinators, Ma’am Sheila
Posas, and Sir Domer Regis, such a big achievement because I was able to overcome the fear
I have in public speaking. Another is an experience that I would never ever forget, where my
students appreciate my teachings especially those who were not really under me, the students
of my Cooperating Teacher, the Grade 11 Pearl and Diamond. They have made me felt that I
have truly given remarkable teachings to them with such period of time, This week especially
the last day, made me feel like I really wanted to be a teacher in God’s timing.
