I. Introduction

We are a team of educators and structural engineers working to enhance a school's

playground area. We recommend that the administrators of the school construct the miniature
coaster shown in the below blueprint. This was created using various functions that were either
multiplicitous or not, had roots, or none at all. The final design was then made by combining the
graphs of these various functions. We designed the roller coaster with rules and the fact that it
would be for kids in mind. We decided to begin it at just 2 feet above the ground, lower it to 4
feet below the ground, raise it to 4 feet above the ground, lower it to 4 feet below the ground
once more, and then raise it all the way to 10 feet above the ground before stopping at 2 feet
below the ground. The kids ride this mini-coaster on an elevated railway with age-appropriate
inclines and descents, giving them a quick thrill and a fun experience. We made sure that this
design is child-friendly and that children will feel safe here because safety is our top priority.
