WORKING KITAS

Working KITAS is intended for those foreigners who wish to work with Indonesian Company that will
become their sponsors. This type of KITAS is associated with the Ministry of Manpower and it is
become mandatory for any company that wish to hire Foreign Workers to obtain RPTKA (Plan for
Employment of Foreign Workers) and IMTA (Notification of Work Permit) from the Ministry of
Manpower in order to have the e-Visa issued by the Central Immigration System. This KITAS is valid for
1 year and can be extended a maximum of 4 time
Lead Time: Standard process will take 1-2 months

Requirements Documents:
Applicant documents:
1. Expatriate passport with minimum 18 (eighteen) months validity and scanned copy of
identification page and cover
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the expatriate
3. Certificate of degree graduated
4. Health insurance
5. Work experience letter
6. Photograph of the expatriate, red background (soft copy)
7. Contact Details: Phone number and address in Bali

Company sponsor documents:

1. Company’s deed of establishment and its amendments (if any)
2. Approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (MoLHR) of company sponsor/SK
Kehakiman Pendirian Perusahaan dan Perubahannya (if any)
3. Tax Registration Number (NPWP) of company sponsor
4. Certificate of Domicile of company sponsor
5. Business License (NIB)
6. ID Card (KTP), NPWP and Family Register (KK) of the Indonesian Director of company sponsor
as Guarantor, or passport of foreign Director.
7. Blank papers with the company’s letterhead; (for application letters)
8. Company stamp (ink)
9. Mandatory Manpower Report (Wajib Lapor Ketenagakerjaan Perusahaan/WLKP) of company
sponsor (mandatory employment report, must be completed such as the registration for the
BPJS Social Security and BPJS Health and proving has 10 local staff to hire a foreign worker.
10. ID card/ KTP of the Indonesian guarantor
11. Company’s bank account information or statement balance minimum USD 2,000

Note:
* The $1200 is DPKK retribution to Ministry of Manpower in Indonesia. It’s calculated from $100 per
month and for 1 year validation it will be $1200 in total.
