going through mitosis
&
Because duplications deletions
are tolerated
better on sexchromosomes compared to autosomal chromosomes

Because only reciprocalsections of specific chromosomes


are
changed and as a result, there's NO extra or missing genes.
However, the
one of rearranged chromosomes can still be
inherited by the offspring.

Chromosomal Spread - G Banding Questions:

1. Count the chromosomes. Does this cell have a normal or abnormal number of
cells?
I counted 47 chromosome so this cell has an abnormal
number of chromosomes.
2. Do you think this is a male or female?
I believe this is a male.
