In many parts of the world, an ever-increasing number of species are becoming extinct, creating the

need for understanding the meaning of biodiversity. This problem might require a multifaceted
approach, and therefore I believe there should be much to be done to address the issue.

One possible approach would be for governments and international organizations to implement new
stricter laws such as imprisonment and huge fines to ensure that animals should not be the victim of
uncontrolled hunting and poaching. This would certainly tackle the issue quickly. However, measures like
this would probably be difficult to enforce since in some countries, hunting and wild games may remain
a common practice as an integral part of their traditions or livelihood.

A more feasible approach would be for governments to collaborate with international organizations such
as the World Wildlife Fund and IUCN to raise awareness of biological diversity in different fields and
media, ranging from schools and higher education to social media and television. This would establish a
foundation for realizing the significance of saving wild animals among millions of people, particularly
younger generations. Western countries, such as Great Britain and the US are often regarded by others
as morally advanced models, where people actively engage in social gatherings about saving wild animal
and plant species.

Last but not least, everyone on Earth should be responsible for maintaining biodiversity. Because human
activity is the main culprit for the loss of biodiversity, individuals should be mindful that their actions
could have negative effects on the lives of different animals and plant species. Deforestation and other
human-related practices that can cause the loss of species habitats should be controlled, and non-native
species should not be taken to other parts of the world, where they may give rise to other native species
going extinct.

In conclusion, the problem of biodiversity can indeed be far from easy to solve. However, it is not the
reason to avoid taking action. Governments, international institutions and individuals should work
collectively to keep various animals and plants in existence.
